Job summary

ProMach is seeking an Applications Engineer to coordinate between Inside Sales and Engineering, developing customer solutions and acting as a Subject Matter Expert for Matrix solutions. You’ll work with distributed and third-party equipment manufacturers to ensure specifications, pricing, and delivery meet requirements.

Responsibilities include assisting sales with quotes, reviewing preliminary layouts, and maintaining opportunity pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Technical Degree in engineering/technical field is preferred.
• Packaging/Capital Equipment background beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills required.
• Sales experience is a plus and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate between Inside Sales and Engineering to develop customer solutions.
• Act as SME for Matrix solutions and engage with equipment manufacturers.
• Review quotes for technical soundness and gross margin viability.
• Create preliminary CAD layouts for machinery and production lines.
• Coordinate with regional managers and customers for site information and drawings.
• Attend trade shows to provide technical sales support and direct customer interaction.
• Maintain historical databases and support ongoing opportunities pipeline.
