Great American Insurance Group seeks an Application Engineering Manager to lead development teams within the OneTeam delivery model. You will align work with enterprise priorities, ensure SDLC compliance, and promote modern practices including AI-enabled capabilities.

You will partner with Delivery Leaders, Product Managers, Architects, and stakeholders to drive reliable, scalable applications across EHS and IT Services while mentoring staff and optimizing workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience documenting requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Generally, a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development and/or application development, including a minimum of 4 years of leadership experience.
• 3-5 years of leading software development teams using Scrum, Kanban or XP methodologies.

• Oversees strategic planning and execution to align initiatives with organizational goals.
