Job summary

Great American Insurance Group seeks a Business Intelligence Manager to lead the data analytics team and drive analytics initiatives across underwriting, service, and finance. You will shape the roadmap, deliver dashboards, and deploy AI-enabled solutions to improve client outcomes.

The role requires strong leadership, technical depth in SQL and modeling, and experience with BI tools. On-site with some remote flexibility; travel up to 15% may be involved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data-related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in analytics or data science with leadership exposure.
• 4+ years leading analytics delivery and team responsibility.
• Translating business strategy into analytics roadmaps and outcomes.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and data governance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead the data analytics team and set vision and delivery priorities.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify metrics and insights.
• Oversee data sources, tools, and capabilities improvements.
• Direct design and deployment of analytics products and AI-enabled solutions.
• Collaborate with shared services and vendors for integration.
• Communicate results through executive-ready narratives and visuals.
• Monitor data quality, model performance, and risk controls.
• Coach a group of data experts and support career growth.
