Great American Insurance Group in the United States is seeking an Application Engineering Manager for a hybrid role integrating in-office collaboration with remote work. You will lead the Application Development team for EHS and IT Services, ensure SDLC practices, security baselines, and continuous improvement, and align delivery with enterprise priorities.

You will mentor engineers, drive AI-enabled capabilities, and promote best practices across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field/experience.
• Minimum 10 years of software development experience with at least 4 years in leadership.
• Experience documenting requirements, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Direct experience with self-funded insurance products is a plus.
