Job summary

Lowe's Sales Specialist position in Silverthorne, CO seeks a customer-focused professional to help customers select the right products and guide home improvement projects. You will be the first point of contact, learning product details, promotions, and financing options to close sales.

You will move throughout the store assisting customers, answering questions, and building strong service relationships while developing product expertise and delivering exceptional shopping experiences.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external in customer-facing sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with sales goals/metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by seeking out customers to understand needs and communicate Lowe's advantages.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department; provide estimates, schedule installer visits, process orders, and follow up for completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales; work with vendors and stores to find merchandise and replacement stock.
• Perform price reviews according to pricing policies and maintain pricing/docs.
• Support checkout functions, call buttons, departmental pages, or requests for assistance.
• Train associates in the department by on‑the‑job training on the Sales floor and coaching.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
