Job summary

Lowe's Sales Specialist position in the United States offers opportunities to help customers choose the right products and turn ideas into completed projects. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales or 18 months Lowe’s retail if education unmet).
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience with sales goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with assistance.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by state (Lowe's will support).

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and communicating Lowe's advantages.
• Serve as point of contact for customers and vendors in your department, handle estimates, scheduling, orders, and installations.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with vendors to find merchandise and replacements.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and respond to requests for assistance.
• Train associates on the Sales floor and coach on development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
