Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, assess project needs, and guide them to the right products across departments such as Appliances, Flooring, and Live Nursery. You’ll become a product expert, explaining specifications, promotions, and financing options to close a sale.

This role emphasizes customer service, problem solving in a fast-paced store, and collaboration with vendors and team members. Part-time or full-time opportunities and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months Lowe’s retail experience (or 3 years external sales if education not met).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service in a sales environment with required goals or metrics.
• Able to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• Able to stand and sit for prolonged periods; able to lift 25 lbs unassisted or more with accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding needs and communicating Lowe’s advantages.
• Serve as contact for customers and vendors, provide estimates, schedule visits, process and track orders.
• In Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels and work with vendors/stores to order stock.
• Perform price reviews and maintain pricing/documentation.
• Support all checkout functions and departmental requests.
• Train associates on the sales floor and coach development needs.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
