Job summary

Lowe's Home Centers, LLC is seeking a Sales Specialist to greet customers, understand their home improvement needs, and guide them to the right products and services. You’ll be a product expert informing customers about specifications, promotions, and financing options to close sales in a fast-paced store setting.

In this part-time role, you’ll move around the store and interact with customers, vendors, and colleagues, helping ensure a positive shopping experience and contributing to sales goals

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer-facing sales or 6 months of Lowe’s retail experience (or equivalent external experience).
• 1 year of experience in sales or customer service with sales goals or metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by understanding customer needs and explaining Lowe's products and services.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers and vendors within your department, handling estimates, scheduling, orders, installations, and follow-ups for project completion.
• If in Pro Department, focus on external accounts and outside sales and services.
• Monitor inventory levels to support sales with vendors and other stores.
• Perform price reviews and ensure pricing documentation.
• Support checkout functions and respond to assistance requests on the sales floor.
• Train associates in the department through on-the-job coaching and development.
