Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking an Appliance Service Technician to diagnose and repair GE appliances in the East Palo Alto/San Jose area. You'll join the Bodewell service team and deliver trusted, value-driven service. You'll combine hands-on repair skills with customer education, promote service plans, and operate a service van.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years appliance repair or related experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances.
• Recommend repair vs replacement based on cost and customer needs.
• Promote service contracts and related products.
• Operate service van and document repairs and routes.
• Maintain inventory and vehicle upkeep.
• Deliver high-quality service with strong customer satisfaction.
