GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking an Appliance Service Technician in Westchester, NY to diagnose and repair GE major appliances in customers’ homes and confidently recommend service plans and accessories.

You’ll operate a service van, document work, and deliver high‑quality service while upholding GE’s Zero Distance culture and safety standards across every customer interaction.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite specifically Outlook and Teams.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with some Saturdays as needed.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screen.
• Must obtain CFC Certification within 6 months.
• Wear uniforms and maintain GE Appliance values.
• Self-directed and solid team player.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnosing and completing in-home repairs on GE Appliances’ major appliances.
• Using sound judgment to recommend repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promoting and selling service contracts, water filters, and related products while focusing on value-driven solutions.
• Operating an assigned Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Documenting repairs, routes, and work activities accurately.
• Participating in training sessions, meetings, and events to maintain industry expertise.
• Managing inventory and maintenance of your service vehicle.
• Delivering high-quality service and maintaining strong customer satisfaction.
• Following all safety protocols to protect yourself and others.
