Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is hiring an Appliance Service Technician for North Seattle, WA. You will diagnose and repair GE appliances at customers’ homes, decide between repair or replacement, and promote service plans and products to customers.

You’ll use laptops and company tools, travel in a van, and follow safety protocols while delivering high-quality service and strong customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years in appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a professional approach.
• Must have a valid state driver’s license and pass a background check, drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances’ major appliances.
• Assess when to repair vs. replace based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promote service contracts and related products while ensuring a great customer experience.
• Operate and maintain the assigned Bodewell service van and document work activities.
• Participate in training, meetings, and safety protocols to stay current.
