GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking an Appliance Care Technician to diagnose and repair major GE appliances in customers' homes. You will evaluate repair vs replacement, promote service contracts, and manage on-site installations while delivering excellent customer service.

Typical duties include operating a service van, documenting work, and staying current through training. A valid driver's license and flexibility are required for success in this role.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of appliance repair or related maintenance experience.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Teams; computer aptitude expected.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background checks and screenings.
• Willing to obtain CFC certification within 6 months.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances.
• Advise customers on repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness.
• Promote and sell service contracts, water filters, and related products.
• Operate an assigned Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Document repairs, routes, and work activities accurately.
• Participate in training sessions and team events to stay current.
