GE Appliances, a Haier company, is hiring an Appliance Service Technician (Denton, TX) to diagnose and repair major GE appliances in customers’ homes. You will upsell service plans and related products while delivering expert, friendly service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances.
• Excellent customer service and professional communication.
• Basic computer skills including Outlook and Teams.
• Flexible schedule with some Saturdays as needed.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug screen.
• Must obtain CFC Certification within 6 months.
• Wear uniform and maintain grooming standards.
• Self-directed and team player.
• Ability to lift 77 lbs and push/pull 70 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances’ major appliances.
• Recommend repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promote and sell service contracts, water filters, and related products.
• Operate assigned Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Document repairs, routes, and work activities.
• Participate in training, meetings, and events to maintain expertise.
• Manage inventory and maintenance of the service vehicle.
• Deliver high-quality service and maintain customer satisfaction.
