GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking an Appliance Service Technician in Phoenix, AZ. The role combines hands-on repair with advising customers on service plans and accessories, acting as a technician, educator, and brand ambassador.

You will diagnose in-home repairs, promote value-driven solutions, operate a service van, document activities, and participate in ongoing training and safety protocols to deliver high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of appliance repair/electrical/mechanical experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/Teams).
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background and drug screen.
• Willing to obtain CFC Certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances’ major appliances.
• Recommend repair vs. replacement based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promote and sell service contracts and related products.
• Operate a Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Document repairs, routes, and work activities.
• Participate in training sessions, meetings, and events to maintain expertise.
• Manage inventory and maintenance of your service vehicle.
• Deliver high-quality service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.
