Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of appliance repair or related experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer aptitude incl. MS Office.
• Valid state driver's license; background check and drug screen.
• Willing to obtain CFC certification within 6 months.
• Able to lift 77 lbs and work with hot/cold/wet parts.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances’ major appliances.
• Recommend repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness.
• Promote service contracts, water filters and related products.
• Operate an assigned Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Accurately document repairs, routes and work activities.
• Attend training, meetings and events to stay technically updated.
• Maintain inventory and service vehicle upkeep.
• Deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.
