Job summary

Groundswell is seeking an experienced Appian Test Engineering Lead to support web-based applications with automation testing skills. You will guide QA strategy, design test environments, and drive data collection plans while mentoring testing staff.

You will review test documentation, develop test plans, and report results. The role supports fully remote and hybrid teams with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software testing experience
• 2+ years of automation testing experience
• Experience leading a team and mentoring junior team members
• Experience interpreting requirements and writing test documentation (e.g. Test Reports)
• Knowledge of Test Management and automation toolsets/processes
• Knowledge of Performance Testing processes

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of overall test strategy, test environment design, and test data
• Plan, execute, and report on software development and maintenance testing
• Provide leadership in hiring, training, mentoring of testing team members
• Develop test plans and procedures from requirements documents
• Collaborate with testing groups and communicate upgrades or system changes
