Groundswell is a premier technology integrator delivering solutions to federal agencies. We seek an experienced Appian Test Engineering Lead to drive QA programs, define test strategy, and lead automation testing using Playwright and Selenium.

You will mentor testers, shape test plans, and ensure quality across remote or hybrid teams in a fast-paced environment. The role demands strong leadership, proficiency in test management tools, and a U.S.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of software testing experience, collaborating with developers, project/release managers, and DBAs.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring junior members.
• Experience interpreting requirements, writing QC docs (e.g. Test Reports) and UAT plans.
• Knowledge of test management, automation toolsets and processes.
• Knowledge of performance testing processes and cadence.
• Proficiency with test automation and test management tools like Playwright and Selenium.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and across remote/hybrid teams.
• U.S. citizenship per contract requirements; eligible for security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Play a strategic role in the design and implementation of the QA program.
• Lead the development of test strategy, environment design, and test data.
• Provide leadership in hiring, training, and performance evaluations for testers.
• Plan, execute, and report on software development and maintenance testing.
• Review and recommend improvements to test documentation.
• Develop test plans and procedures based on requirements documents.
• Develop data collection plans and train operators and data collectors.
• Review data collection forms and operational logs from tests.
• Review Test Incident Reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Support analysis of user requirements and assist in test plan design.
• Collaborate with testing groups on issues and topics.
• Provide timely communication about upgrades, downtimes, changes, or issues.
• Report bugs accurately and escalate as needed.
• Perform technical reviews and ensure adherence to quality processes.
