Groundswell is seeking an experienced Appian Test Engineering Lead to support the development of web-based applications with automation testing experience. The role requires leading QA strategy, test environment design, data, and team mentoring, across fully remote and/or hybrid teams.

The position emphasizes test planning and reporting on SDLC testing activities. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in IT, 5+ years in software testing (including 2+ years in automation), and proficiency

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related discipline.
• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience.
• Experience leading a team of testers.
• Experience interpreting requirements and writing UAT plans.
• Knowledge of test management and automation tools.
• Familiarity with performance testing.
• Proficiency with Playwright and Selenium.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the overall QA program design and implementation.
• Develop test strategy, environment design, and test data.
• Mentor and evaluate testing team members.
• Plan, execute, and report on testing across SDLC.
• Review and improve test documentation.
• Develop and implement data collection plans.
• Coordinate with testing groups on issues.
• Report upgrades, downtimes, and system changes.
• Ensure bugs are properly reported and escalated.
• Perform technical reviews for quality processes.
