Groundswell is seeking an experienced Appian Test Engineering Lead to support the development of web-based applications with automation testing expertise. You will shape the QA program, design test environments, and mentor the testing team, collaborating with cross-functional partners in a fully remote and/or hybrid setup.

The role requires 5+ years of software testing, 2+ years of automation experience, and leadership capabilities, with a focus on test plans, documentation, and performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related discipline.
• 5+ years of software testing experience with cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience.
• Experience leading a team and mentoring juniors.
• Experience interpreting requirements and writing test documentation (Test Reports, Acceptance Criteria).
• Knowledge of Test Management, automation toolsets and processes.
• Knowledge of Performance Testing processes.
• Proficiency with Playwright and Selenium.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in remote/hybrid teams.

Responsabilités

• Design and implement the QA program.
• Lead test strategy, environment design, and test data.
• Mentor testing staff and evaluate performance.
• Plan, execute, and report on tests.
• Review test documentation and reports.
• Develop test plans based on requirements and specs.
• Collaborate with testing groups on issues.
• Communicate upgrades, downtimes, and system changes.
• Report and escalate bugs properly.
• Perform technical reviews to ensure quality processes.
