Job summary

Groundswell is seeking an experienced Appian Test Engineering Lead to support the development of web-based applications with strong automation testing capabilities. The role emphasizes leadership in test strategy, environment design, and data planning, while guiding a testing team and coordinating with developers.

You will review and refine test documentation, implement robust test plans, and lead efforts in data collection, incident reporting, and system evaluation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
• 5+ years of software testing experience, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience and hands-on tooling like Playwright and Selenium.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall test strategy, environment design, and data.
• Manage hiring, mentoring, and performance evaluations for testing staff.
• Plan, execute, and report on software development and maintenance testing.
• Review test documentation and develop test plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with testing groups on issues and upgrades; report bugs clearly.
