Job summary

Chainguard, a trusted leader in open source security, seeks a Manager of Enterprise Business Development for the APJ region. You will lead a BDR team, hire and onboard new members, and implement strategies to hit pipeline targets.

Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product to optimize lead generation and conversion rates. You’ll coach a distributed team, monitor KPIs, and forecast attainment while building a high‑performing, data‑driven sales engine in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• +2 years leading a team of BDRs; cybersecurity and devsecops experience preferred.
• Experience with funnel management across multiple channels.
• Hands-on enablement experience in onboarding & development.
• Experience with sales/marketing tools including CRM, lead gen software & AI tools.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decisions.
• Recruit, hire, and train teams effectively.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
• Located in the APJ region.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale the BDR function; partner with recruiting to hire top talent.
• Develop outbound prospecting, qualification, and opportunity creation.
• Provide coaching in weekly 1:1s to improve skills and performance.
• Collaborate with Demand Gen to optimize MQLs and campaigns.
• Align with Sales to refine outbound strategies and hand-offs.
• Partner with Marketing/Sales/Product on messaging for target accounts.
• Forecast weekly to quarterly attainment and monitor KPIs.
• Drive BDR productivity and output through collaboration with teams.
