Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a donor pheresis technician to prepare donors, equipment, and the pheresis apparatus for successful procedures. You will monitor the donor and process, handle alarms, and ensure accurate recording of data in the donor information system.

The role requires at least a high school diploma and 3+ months in a medical setting, with emphasis on safety, math, and confidentiality. On-site work and cross-training may be part of the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three months’ work experience in medical/health provider env.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare donor, donor area and equipment for pheresis process.
• Prepare autopheresis machine for pheresis.
• Monitor donor and process; respond to alarms or signals.
• Disconnect donor when process is complete.
• Record incidents and donor data using PDA and EMIS.
• Maintain clean work environment and ensure supplies are available.
• Follow HSE and OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain donor confidentiality; may cross-train in other areas.
