Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA) is seeking an Applications Analyst III to provide Epic Beaker CP/AP support in a hospital laboratory environment. The role focuses on operational, technical, and workflow support for Beaker across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate holds Epic Beaker CP/AP certification and has hands-on Beaker experience. Expect on‑site work with 40 hours per week, day schedule, and on‑call duties while ensuring compliant, reliable LIS operations.

Qualifications

• Current Epic Beaker CP/AP certification.
• Hospital Beaker support experience preferred.
• Knowledge of HL7 messaging, interfaces, and Epic integration.
• Strong understanding of clinical laboratory workflows and terminology.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support daily LIS operations and related interfaces.
• Troubleshoot Epic integrations, interface errors, result transmission issues, and data discrepancies.
• Configure, test, and maintain system mappings.
• Validate laboratory orders, results, and specimen tracking across systems.
• Support upgrades, patches, enhancements, and testing activities.
• Partner with laboratory staff, clinicians, IT teams, vendors, and operational leaders to resolve issues and improve workflows.
• Document system configurations, workflows, and issue resolutions.
• Participate in on‑call support and incident response as needed.
• Maintain compliance with healthcare, privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
