Job summary

Utility Billing West is seeking a Utility Billing Coordinator to manage and accurately process monthly charges for apartment communities, ensuring charges are allocated correctly to tenants. You will work closely with property managers to confirm billing details and resolve questions with professionalism.

Ideal candidates have strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and competence in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in an office, billing, or customer service is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process and manage monthly utility billing for apartment communities in a timely and accurate manner.
• Allocate and apply utility charges to tenant accounts based on property data.
• Review invoices and billing reports for accuracy and discrepancies.
• Collaborate with property managers to confirm billing details and resolve questions.
• Respond to tenant inquiries regarding charges, usage, and billing explanations.
• Resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams and providers as needed.
• Maintain organized electronic records of billing data, correspondence, and adjustments.
• Meet billing deadlines while managing multiple accounts and priorities.
• Provide excellent customer service to tenants and property managers.
• Utilize MS Office and internal systems to track, process, and report billing information.
• Follow confidentiality standards for customer and financial data.
• Participate in training and process improvements.
