Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Dallas to perform make-ready repairs and ensure rental homes meet quality standards for turnover. You will caulk, seal, inspect, paint, and maintain units and common areas while following established checklists and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include completing maintenance documentation, collaborating with the Service Supervisor, and delivering responsive service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Completes all needed repairs and improvements to apartment homes prior to resident move-in by following the community’s make-ready checklist.
• Ensures apartment homes have been properly caulked and sealed around windows, sinks, toilets, bathtubs, and showers.
• Inspects sheetrock for damage and repairs or replaces as needed.
• Performs touch-up paints for vacant and occupied units as directed by Supervisor or Community Manager.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by cleaning, debris removal, and painting curbs and signage as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing rather than replacing parts where possible and using materials efficiently.
• Completes make-ready checklist and required maintenance documentation in a timely manner.
• Follows Greystar safety policies, attends safety meetings, and completes OSHA-related training.
• Demonstrates customer service by addressing resident questions and timely responses to maintenance issues.
