Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Houston seeks a Maintenance Technician to prepare vacant apartment homes for move-ins, perform repairs, and ensure make-ready standards are met. You will review schedules, follow directions from the Community/Maintenance Manager, and coordinate with vendors as needed.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, be proficient with hand and power tools, and read English. OSHA and Fair Housing knowledge are required; you must supply your own tools and maintain a safe

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Certifications as required by State and Local Jurisdictions.
Must supply own tools.
Must be able to read and write in English.
Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA Requirements.

Responsibilities

Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in.
Review the make-ready board and take direction from the Community Manager and/or Maintenance Manager to determine action to be taken on apartment homes.
Make all repairs/replacements necessary for unit to be occupied as outlined on the make-ready checklist.
Apply touch-up and full-paints as needed to interior and exterior of apartment homes.
Clean out all trash from apartment homes before, during and after make-ready activity.
Inspect completed apartment homes and schedules any necessary follow-up work before designating the unit as “Ready”.
Interact with vendors, contractors, Clients and all levels of employees.
