Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a Make Ready Technician to prepare vacant apartments and maintain property facilities in Houston. You will support resident services by ensuring safe, clean, and well-maintained common areas and respond to work orders efficiently.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year in maintenance, with skills across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, and painting, plus own tools; EPA certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of general maintenance/repair experience.
• Trade skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, or related areas.
• Trade licensing preferred but not required.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the community.
• Willingness to work varied schedule including weekends/holidays.
• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Perform work to keep common areas clean, safe, and attractive.
• Respond to and complete work orders in a timely, quality manner.
• Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provideexcellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Perform preventative maintenance to maintain property value.
• Identify safety issues and report or correct them promptly.
• Use software to track work and personal performance.
• Contribute as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
