Job summary

Allied Orion Group is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to prepare vacant apartments for move-in and ensure make-ready standards are met in Houston, TX. You will perform repairs, touch-ups, painting, and basic electrical/plumbing tasks as directed by the Community Manager.

Strong safety awareness, ability to read instructions, and willingness to supply your own tools are essential. This on-site role requires good communication with vendors, residents, and staff to keep units ready on

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications as required by State and Local Jurisdictions.
• Must supply own tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for move-in.
• Review the make-ready board and take direction from Community Manager/Maintenance Manager.
• Make repairs/replacements necessary for unit occupancy.
• Apply touch-up and full-paints as needed to interior and exterior.
• Clean out all trash from apartment homes before, during and after make-ready.
• Inspect completed apartment homes and schedule follow-up work to ensure 'Ready' status.
