Job summary

Greystar is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician to prepare vacant units for lease by completing repairs, caulking, sealing, and painting as needed. You’ll inspect drywall, perform touch-up paints, and help with grounds and common-area upkeep to keep properties market-ready.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance or facilities preferred.
• Ability to perform repairs and make-ready tasks to standards.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and improvements to enable move-in readiness.
• Caulk and seal around windows, sinks, toilets, and showers as needed.
• Inspect sheetrock, repair or replace as required.
• Provide paint touch-ups for vacant and occupied units.
• Help maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Complete make-ready checklists and maintenance documentation promptly.
• Adhere to safety policies and participate in trainings and safety meetings.
• Deliver courteous customer service to residents and address questions or concerns.
