Job summary

ConcordRENTS is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our Lake Harris Cove community in Leesburg, FL. The role focuses on maintaining apartment homes and common areas, performing repairs, and ensuring a high standard of resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include prep and turnover of apartments, preventive maintenance, grounds upkeep, and on-call coverage. Certifications (CPO and EPA) may be required or pursued within six months of hire, with English proficiency a must.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalence required.
• Requires basic mechanical knowledge.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification may be required and EPA certification (Universal or Type I & II) must be provided or obtained within six months of hire.
• Must be able to speak, read and write English.
• Prefer over one year of maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents and respond to service requests.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartment homes and community facilities per work orders and supervisor direction.
• Complete apartment unit turns (make-readies) including inspections, repairs, painting and cleaning for new residents.
• Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections (HVAC, detectors, appliances).
• Maintain community grounds, buildings and common areas; address landscaping and irrigation issues.
• Assist with upkeep of amenities and exterior features, including signage and recreation areas; service pools as certified.
• Move appliances, assist with keys, and respond to issues in a timely manner.
• Track and close service requests in the property management system; follow inspection protocols.
• Participate in on-call duty for evenings and weekends.
