Job summary

Camden Property Trust is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Raleigh, NC. This on-site role handles maintenance requests, make-readies, groundskeeping, pool maintenance, and preventative tasks while delivering top-tier customer service to residents.

You'll respond to requests, coordinate with a team, and ensure safety and quality. The ideal candidate has at least six months of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, and EPA certification if possible.

Qualifications

• Six months of maintenance experience required.
• High School Diploma preferred; trade school certification is highly desired.
• EPA Type I, II or Universal certification preferred.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Experience with make-readies, groundskeeping and safety tasks.

Responsibilities

• Respond to service requests and complete work promptly.
• Coordinate with team and supervisor to prioritize tasks.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, guests, and vendors.
• Identify safety hazards and correct or report them.
• Perform preventative maintenance on community equipment.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-in and complete repairs as needed.
• Maintain community appearance and perform basic repairs.
• Document service activity in the appropriate systems.
• Assist with groundskeeping, pool maintenance, and notices distribution.
