Job summary

Vivmark Residential in Lewisville, TX is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform diverse trades across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance. You will diagnose issues, complete repairs, and uphold safety and quality standards to keep the community running smoothly.

The role offers full-time hours, a 40-hour schedule, and a total base pay range of $48,000 to $67,500 per year, along with a competitive benefits package. A valid driver’s license and on-call rotation are required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of maintenance experience, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Valid driver’s license.
• On-call rotation with the team each month.
• Ability to communicate with residents and team members for customer service.
• Ability to read and follow policies, including SDS and safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of PPE and safe handling of chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, painting/wall surfaces, water features, and waste management systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs in line with company standards and in a timely manner.
• Ensures vacant apartment homes are rent-ready promptly; performs turnkey work as required.
• Performs apartment preventative maintenance.
• Assists in painting interior and exterior surfaces.
• Maintains a safety-focused culture and reports unsafe conditions or nonfunctioning equipment.
• Performs hot works including brazing, soldering, and welding per Vivmark standards.
