Job summary

MAA in Panama City Beach, FL is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Technician to service and repair apartment homes and property facilities. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and lock systems to keep homes in top condition.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of multifamily maintenance experience, HVAC experience, EPA Type II or Universal certification by hire or within 90 days, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA Type II or EPA Universal certification required at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Valid driver’s license from the state of residence.
• 1–3 years of experience in multifamily property management, facility maintenance, and/or mechanical repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair to ensure apartment homes and property facilities are in good order.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC units; electrical outlets and light fixtures.
• Handle plumbing, carpentry, and locks as needed.
• Follow a planned preventative maintenance schedule and update residents after repairs are complete.
