Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is hiring a full-time Maintenance Technician for Brookwood Apartments in Wichita, KS. Earn up to $20/hr plus quarterly bonuses and on-call incentives, with strong growth opportunities.

You’ll handle resident work orders, unit turnovers, painting, HVAC repairs, and basic plumbing; knowledge of electrical work is a plus. HVAC certification and EPA/CPO credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• HVAC certification (preferred)
• EPA license (preferred)
• CPO certification (preferred – saltwater pool)
• Experience with painting, drywall, light electrical, basic plumbing
• Great communication & customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving ability
• Willingness to complete basic training within 30 days

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders quickly & professionally
• Turn units between residents (make-ready repairs)
• Interior/exterior painting & staining
• HVAC troubleshooting & repairs
• Grounds maintenance & preventative care
• Keep maintenance areas clean & organized
• Participate in emergency on-call rotation
