Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to maintain the physical aspects of its properties, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and functionality across buildings, grounds, and amenities. Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and performs preventative maintenance on the property in accordance with policies and safety standards.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing, including inspections, punch lists, scheduling vendors, and ensuring tasks are completed.
• Manages materials and inventory by tracking items, returning unused materials, and notifying supervisors when re-ordering is needed.
• Documents service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintains grounds and common areas by cleaning, painting curbs and signage, and assisting with general upkeep as needed.
• Supports cost control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.
