Monarch Investment and Management is hiring a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician for Avalon Place Apartments in Fairborn, OH. The role covers maintenance of multifamily units, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC, with on-call responsibilities and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key duties include completing work orders, preparing units for occupancy, and assisting in preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• HVAC certification or equivalent experience preferred.
• 2+ years in maintenance; 1+ year in apartment maintenance preferred.
• Experience with drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders promptly based on priority.
• Prepare units between tenants and turnovers.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and exterior upkeep.
• Support 24/7 emergency on-call coverage.

Monarch Investment and Management is hiring a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician in your city!

POSITION: Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician at Avalon Place Apartments in Fairborn off of Rockdell Dr.

SCHEDULE: 8:30-5:30PM Monday through Friday, emergency on-call every 4th week ($100 bonus for weeks on-call and min of 1.5 hours paid time)

COMPENSATION: $24-27 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to $750, $500 a year in tool reimbursement and much more!

Responsibilities

• -Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority
• -Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy
• -Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC
• -Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned
• -Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• -Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed
• -Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system

Requirements

• -High school diploma or equivalent
• -2+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred
• -1+ months experience in apartment maintenance
• -Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
• -Plumbing and electrical experience
• -EPA HVAC Certification and repair experience required
• -CPO Certification a plus
• -Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
• -Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)
