Avalon Place Apartments in Fairborn, OH is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. Schedule is 8:30 AM–5:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with emergency on-call every 4th week; $24–$27/hour plus quarterly bonuses and tool reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years in maintenance; apartment setting preferred.
• 1+ months experience in apartment maintenance.
• Drywall, painting, and carpentry experience.
• Plumbing and electrical experience.
• EPA HVAC Certification and repair experience required.
• CPO Certification a plus.
• Working knowledge of appliances including washers and dryers.
• Ability to demonstrate basic job duties during interview.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Turn and make units ready between tenant occupancy.
• Complete repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Assist in grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed.
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.

SCHEDULE: 8:30AM to 5:30PM Monday through Friday, emergency on-call every 4th week ($100 bonus for weeks on-call and min of 1.5 hours paid time)

COMPENSATION: $24.00 to $27.00 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to $750, $500 a year in tool reimbursement and much more!
