Monarch Investment and Management Group in Dayton, OH is hiring an Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician responsible for hands-on residential repairs, make-readies, and work orders. Typical schedule is 8:30–5:30, Monday–Friday, with an emergency on-call rotation every 5th week, and bonuses for on-call weeks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance preferred.
• 1+ months experience in apartment maintenance.
• Basic drywall, painting, and carpentry knowledge.
• Plumbing and electrical experience.
• EPA HVAC Certification a plus.
• CPO Certification a plus.
• Working knowledge of washers and dryers.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders promptly based on priority.
• Turn and make units ready between tenants.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC components.
• Assist in preventative maintenance.
• Perform exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Support 24/7 emergency on-call coverage.

YEAR-ROUND STABLE 40 HOUR WORK in Dayton Ohio at Woodman Park Apartments!

POSITION: Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician (Hands-on residential repair work dealing with make-readies and work orders)

SCHEDULE: 8:30-5:30PM Monday through Friday, emergency on-call every 5th week ($100 bonus for weeks on-call and min of 1.5hrs)

COMPENSATION: $20-22 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to $750, $500 a year in tool reimbursement and much more!

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority


• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy


• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC


• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned


• Exterior structural maintenance as needed


• Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed


• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent


• 2+ year experience in the maintenance field preferred


• 1+ months experience in apartment maintenance


• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry experience


• Plumbing and electrical experience


• EPA HVAC Certification a plus


• CPO Certification a plus


• Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers


• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)
