Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician for Post House Jackson Apartments in Jackson, TN. You will perform resident service requests, apartment turns, and general repairs while ensuring safety and organization in the maintenance shop.

Qualifications include at least 1 year in apartment or facility maintenance, with skills in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and carpentry.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment or facility maintenance preferred.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair knowledge.
• EPA/HVAC/Boiler or CPO certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Perform apartment turns and general repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Complete painting, drywall, and light carpentry work.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and property upkeep.
• Maintain organization and safety within the maintenance shop.
• Participate in the on-call rotation schedule.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of apartment or facility maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of:
  • Plumbing systems and fixture repairs
  • Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
  • Appliance repair
  • Drywall, painting, and carpentry
  • Water heaters and HVAC systems
• EPA, HVAC/Boiler, or CPO certifications are a plus
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
• Ability to work Monday–Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM
• Ability to work on-call one week every other week
