Monarch is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Whisper Hollow in Maryland Heights, MO. The role involves completing work orders, prepping apartments between residents, and performing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks with a focus on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• HVAC Certification preferred.
• EPA and CPO Certifications strongly preferred.
• Experience with drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of plumbing, including sweating copper pipes.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems, outlets, switches, and light fixtures.
• Ability to diagnose and repair appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals.
• Familiarity with both electric and gas water heaters.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders efficiently and according to priority.
• Turn apartments between resident occupancy (Make Ready).
• Paint and stain interiors and exteriors as needed.
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Maintain property grounds and complete preventative maintenance.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Share 24/7 emergency coverage duties with other team members.
