Job summary

Monarch is seeking aMaintenance Technician in Columbus, OH for a full-time role within a multifamily housing environment. The position offers hourly pay of $24.00–$32.00 with a quarterly bonus and on-call bonus, plus a solid benefits package and training opportunities.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, unit turnover, interior/exterior painting, preventative maintenance, and 24/7 emergency cell phone coverage, with snow removal as needed.

Qualifications

• HVAC or EPA Certification preferred.
• Drywalling including painting and carpentry.
• Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe.
• Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures.
• Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnose appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal.
• Water heater knowledge both electric and gas.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority.
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants.
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications.
• Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone.
• Snow removal
