Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Whisper Hollow in Maryland Heights, MO. Responsibilities include completing work orders, preparing units between residents, and assisting with preventative maintenance.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience.
• HVAC Certification preferred.
• EPA and CPO Certifications strongly preferred.
• Experience with drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Knowledge of plumbing, sweating copper pipes.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, outlets, switches, and fixtures.

• Complete work orders efficiently and according to priority.
• Turn apartments between resident occupancy (Make Ready).
• Paint and stain interiors and exteriors as needed.
• Perform HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Maintain property grounds and complete preventative maintenance.
• Keep maintenance areas clean and organized.
• Share 24/7 emergency coverage duties with other team members.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

What You Bring to the Team:

• Working knowledge of electrical systems, outlets, switches, and light fixtures
• Ability to diagnose and repair appliances, including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, and garbage disposals
• Familiarity with both electric and gas water heaters
