Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician for Avalon Place Apartments in Fairborn, OH. The role involves completing maintenance tasks, preparing units between tenants, and supporting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.

The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in maintenance, and experience with drywall, painting, plumbing, and electrical systems. EPA HVAC certification and on-call duties are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in the maintenance field preferred.
• 1+ months experience in apartment maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Plumbing and electrical experience.
• EPA HVAC Certification and repair experience required.
• CPO Certification a plus.
• Working knowledge of appliances (washers/dryers).
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties, as shown in interview process.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Turn and make units ready in between tenant occupancy.
• Complete repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Assist in preventative maintenance as assigned.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Assist in property grounds maintenance and snow removal as needed.
• Assist in coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.

Monarch Investment and Management is hiring a full-time Apartment Maintenance Technician in your city!

POSITION: Apartment (Multifamily) Maintenance Technician at Avalon Place Apartments in Fairborn off of Rockdell Dr.

SCHEDULE: 8:30AM to 5:30PM Monday through Friday, emergency on-call every 4th week ($100 bonus for weeks on-call and min of 1.5 hours paid time)

COMPENSATION: $24.00 to $27.00 an hour plus a quarterly bonus of up to $750, $500 a year in tool reimbursement and much more!
