Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group in Reynoldsburg, Ohio is seeking a Maintenance HVAC Technician II for Creekside at Taylor Square Apartments. You will perform make-ready, on-site maintenance calls, and preventive maintenance to keep units in top condition.

The role requires HVAC or EPA certification, drywalling, plumbing, electrical work, appliance repair, and water heater knowledge. Benefits include quarterly bonuses, 401k matching, paid holidays, PTO, and health plans.

Qualifications

• HVAC or EPA Certification required.
• Drywall and painting skills.
• Plumbing knowledge including copper soldering.
• Electrical knowledge of outlets, switches and fixtures.
• Appliance repair knowledge (fridge, stove, dishwasher, disposal).
• Water heater knowledge (electric and gas).

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Make Ready / Turning Units between tenants.
• Painting/Staining interior and exterior surfaces.
• Manage and implement a preventative maintenance program.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Cover a 24/7 emergency cell phone.
• Snow removal when required.

We are looking for a career oriented Maintenance HVAC Technician II to join our team at Creekside at Taylor Square Apartments in Reynoldsburg, OH. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for getting apartments ready between residents, on-site maintenance calls, and preventative maintenance.

Job Duties:

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone
• Snow removal

What we need from you:

• HVAC or EPA Certification required
• Drywalling including painting and carpentry
• Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe
• Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
• Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal
• Water heater knowledge both electric and gas

A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
