Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for the Homestead Apartments in Hobbs, NM. The role offers $20/hour, quarterly bonuses up to $750, health insurance, tool reimbursement, and paid time off with holidays.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, making ready units, painting and exterior maintenance, with 24/7 on-call coverage. The ideal candidate has 1+ year general maintenance experience and strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

• 1+ years of general maintenance experience.
• Drywalling, painting and carpentry experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing.
• Some knowledge of boilers and forced air systems.
• Good verbal and written communication.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service to residents.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority.
• Make Ready / Turning Units between tenants.
• Paint/Stain interior and exterior applications.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Manage 24/7 emergency cell phone coverage every 3–4 weeks.

Monarch Investment and Management Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Homestead Apartments in Hobbs, NM. We are offering $20/hrs plus $750 quarterly bonuses, health insurance, tool reimbursement, 2 weeks paid time off and 9 paid holidays.

Essential Job Duties and/or oversight Responsibilities:

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone every 3 to 4 weeks

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:

• 1+years’ experience in general maintenance
• Dry walling experience including painting and carpentry
• Basic knowledge of electrical, and plumbing
• Some knowledge of Boilers and Forced Air
• Have good verbal and written communication
• Problem solving skills
• Be able to provide great customer service to our residents

A physical demonstration of your ability to complete the basic job duties will be required during the interview process.
This role requires pre-employment screenings that include a criminal background check, and drug screening.
