Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician to support property maintenance at Lantower Weston Corners in Cary, NC. Responsibilities include completing work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and preparing units for leasing.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license for golf-cart use, and flexibility to cover on-call shifts. Expect a physically demanding, team-based environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• EPA Type 1 and II or Universal refrigerant certifications required.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Flexible schedule including on-call evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and performing repairs.
• Complete the make-ready process for vacant units, including pre-move inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Track inventory and coordinate re-orders with the maintenance supervisor.
• Document work orders accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities; assist with cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-cutting by repairing rather than replacing when feasible.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with OSHA and safety requirements.
• Inspect contractor work to verify quality and scope.
• Perform routine property inspections to identify safety and maintenance needs.
