Job summary

Greystar is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to ensure building systems and grounds meet our standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will handle work orders, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with making-ready tasks for vacant units.

The role requires EPA refrigerant certifications and a valid driver’s license for property operations. The position is on-site at Columns at Wakefield in Raleigh, NC with a rotating on-call schedule and potential bonuses based on

Qualifications

• Perform maintenance tasks on building interiors and exteriors.
• Diagnose and repair equipment following safety standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vacant apartments (make-ready) including inspections and punch lists.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for materials and services.
• Document work and update service-request records promptly and accurately.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities (cleaning, painting, debris removal).
• Support cost-saving by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
