Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor for Valley Stream Apartments in Toledo, Ohio. You will coach a maintenance team, oversee preventative maintenance, and handle administrative duties with the Property Manager.

You should have hands-on skills in drywall, painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and appliance repair, plus experience supervising 3+ staff. A physical demonstration of your ability will be required during the interview process.

Qualifications

• Experience managing/supervising 3+ employees.
• Drywalling including painting and carpentry.
• Working knowledge of plumbing including sweating copper pipe.
• Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures.
• Working knowledge to repair and/or diagnosis of appliances including refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers and garbage disposal.
• Water heater knowledge both electric and gas.
• Experience with operating a plow truck for snow removal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all work orders are completed in a timely manner based on priority.
• Make Ready / Turning Units in between tenants.
• Painting/Staining both interior and exterior applications.
• Working hand in hand with the Property Manager on a monthly budget review.
• Manage and adapt a preventative maintenance program.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency cell phone.
• Snow removal (when applicable).
• Assist in capital projects including but not limited to rehab and/or major repairs.

Today we are looking for a career oriented Apartment Maintenance Supervisor to join our TEAM at Valley Stream Apartment's in Toledo, Ohio. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for coaching and leading a team, preventative maintenance and administrative duties.
