Job summary

Monarch Investment and Management Group in Amarillo, TX, is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Palo Duro Place Apartments. You will lead maintenance staff, prioritize work orders, and ensure timely unit turns between tenants while upholding safety and quality standards.

Candidates should have HVAC experience, EPA certification, and at least four years in maintenance within multifamily housing, plus prior supervisory duties.

Qualifications

• HVAC experience required.
• EPA certification required.
• CPO certification a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years in maintenance.
• 4+ years in multi-family housing preferred.
• Experience supervising 1+ employees.
• Drywall, painting, and carpentry experience.
• Experience with light plumbing and electrical work.
• Knowledge of appliances, washers and dryers.
• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring that work orders are being completed and assigned to team members based on priority.
• Turning and making units ready in between tenant occupancy.
• Completing repairs in property and apartment plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and HVAC.
• Monthly budget analysis with Property Manager.
• Manage and maintain a consistent preventative maintenance program.
• Exterior structural maintenance as needed.
• Managing coverage of a 24/7 emergency on-call system.
• Managing bids and planning major repairs from third party vendors.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, On-Call rotation 1 week every 4 weeks

Responsibilities

• Ability to physically demonstrate basic job duties (completed during interview process)
