Job summary

American Express is seeking a manager to oversee end-to-end compensation and benefits initiatives in the APAC market with direct reporting to the Director, Compensation and Benefits. This role oversees annual salary reviews, incentive plan reviews, and benefits program delivery while ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with global HR strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for management, development, implementation and communication of employee benefits programs.
• Provide compensation and benefits consulting and guidance to HR/HR business partners to support people programs.
• Lead and direct compensation and benefits reviews, new salary awards, adjustment of salary ranges and review of incentive plans.
• Be responsible for compliance with all regulations and American Express policies, procedures, policies and audit requirements.
• Lead relationships with external partners and vendors responsible for the delivery of benefit programs, including contractual agreements and program content, delivery and pricing.
• Be the subject matter expert to provide year-end support to HR/HR business partners, making compensation decisions for benefits and financials.
• Lead health and wellness programs and initiatives in the market
• Promotes rewards and essentials in the market
• Collaborate with compensation and benefits operations, health teams and human services to ensure seamless execution and delivery of C&B-related programs.
• Create opportunities to participate in global and regional C&B projects to support our broader HR strategy
